BPA is…associated with decreased sexual desire, more difficulty having an erection, lower ejaculation strength and lower level of overall satisfaction with sex life…
*BPA is an ingredient in manufacturing polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins and is now contained in a wide variety of consumer products from baby bottles, plastic containers, and the resin lining of cans for food and beverages, to dental sealants. NO PROBLEM! Glad the site is working out so well :)
Everyday we make choices. The thing is you have the power to choose to have a good day, a bad day, a productive day, to give up or forge ahead, to smile, to cry, and so on.
You can only control the controllable…let the rest go, move forward and don’t let what is completely out of your control determine the outcome of your day.
Choose to smile at every person that passes you, choose to work out even though you may not feel motivated, choose to drink water all day and cut out soda, choose the apple over the danish. No one forces you into making choices one way or the other-you control your choices.
No more excuses-make good choices!
you sound like a pretty in-shape person you just have an extra 5-10lb fat area which is very common. Where you are storing this excess baggage comes down to nutrition. I mean completely on-par, no nonsense cheating etc. In order to truly not have love-handles and in the inner thigh fat your nutrition needs to be perfect!
every day 5-9 servings of fruits and veggies, NO SIMPLE CARBOHYDRATES, all complex carbs, and protein. I know, I know its not what anyone wants to hear but that is the honest truth. Love handles will always be there unless nutrition is perfect!
AH HA! Your goals do not conflict my dear! They completely correspond :)
let’s first discuss: Butt/thigh toning/shaping/weight loss. When women gain weight, most of us store that excess fat on our lower mid-section, butt and thighs and we appear more pear-shaped. Men, however, gain weight on the upper half of their body and in the front of their mid-section appearing more apple-shaped.
In order for you to lose the cellulite, look more toned in the lower half of your body, and increase your upper-body strength you should hit the weights!!! It’s a common misconception about the amount of leg strength that is present in females that have the toned non-cellulite legs. To give you an example:
I am 5’2” 125lbs I have a little bit of cellulite on my legs (believe it or not) I can lunge in all directions with two 20lb dumbbells (aka 40lbs total) I can also squat more than half my body weight. So, for anyone out there playing it safe with the 5-pounders it’s time for you go heavy!! Same can be said for your upper-body strength: NO MORE LADY PUSH-UPS! Even if you start out barely doing one push-up from your toes, take a break in between and work your way up :)
Now, calories: you do not need to increase your caloric intake to build muscle unless you want to be a 1st place woman body builder or plan on playing offensive tackle for your local football team. Go to thedailyplate.com and follow the steps to calculate what your daily calories should be. Do your best to stay within that range, watch your ratios of carbs:fats:proteins this in combination with strength training 3x+ per week will result in decreased cellulite on the legs/butt/thighs AND upper-body strength gains!
Thanks much. Hope you're having a fun with your new job.
THANKS SO MUCH! Sorry for taking so long to get back to everyone :( First congrats on the weight loss!

It sounds like you lost the weight pretty rapidly, if you have the saggy skin and stretch marks. My suggestion would be to take a more direct approach with weight training and make cardio a 2x/wk MAX! It’s time to tone and let your skin catch up to your weight loss. Make strength gains and nutrition your main focus: fruits, veggies, protein, new recipes :) have fun with it!
Also, I would suggest pure cocoa butter (not drug store brand, ones you find at trader joes, whole foods, other specialty lotion stores) there is some evidence pure cocoa butter and vitamin E and aloe can reduce the appearance of stretch marks over time. GOOD LUCK!
